our boats & location

Our boat amenities include shaded areas, dry bag areas, a bathroom, hot showers, water, sodas, and oranges. We recommend bringing a towel, lunch, or snacks, as there are limited food options nearby.

Free parking is available on-site! 

Our spacious Newton dive boats are right on-site, making boarding and loading your gear quick and easy. We have two boats—a 46-foot Newton and a 40-foot Newton—both conveniently located just steps from the shop.

How to find us:
We are located inside the Crandon Marina in Key Biscayne. Enter "Diver's Paradise" into your maps app or 4000 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, 33149.

Once inside the marina, take the first right and follow the winding road to the other side of the marina.

Certified Divers

Our Miami dive trips are about 3.5 hours. You visit two dive sites on each tour, unless you booked a 3-tank dive. Two tank dives start at $105 per person plus gear.

There is a captain and crew on board at all times to supervise the diving and snorkeling activities from the boat. All of our dive trips have a Divemaster in the water navigating the site as the groups guide. If you want a private guide, you can request one in advance on almost every trip ($175).

  • Check-in for all trips is 1 hour prior to the departure time listed on the booking calendar.
  • Dive computer required on dives 70 feet or deeper (can rent).
  • Divers age 10 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Divers 16-17 must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian OR obtain written permission. 

snorkeling

Our Miami snorkeling trips are approximately 3.5 hours and typically visit two snorkel locations just off Key Biscayne. Since these are hybrid dive & snorkel charters, you may share the boat with scuba divers.

Snorkeling is self-guided, meaning there is no in-water guide. Guests stay near the boat and are welcome to use the surface line and complimentary snorkel vest for added comfort.

Discover Scuba Diving
for Non-Certified Divers

Have you always wanted to try scuba diving but aren’t certified yet? This beginner-friendly experience is the perfect introduction to the underwater world.

Our Discover Scuba Diving class is a 1-day experience offered year-round. Spanish and Portuguese instruction is also available upon request.

Participants must be able to swim to join this experience.

Health & Boarding Requirements

For your safety and the safety of our crew, we reserve the right to refuse boarding if a guest presents a significant health or safety risk, or if we are unable to safely assist them from the water back onto the boat. Please review the most current diving health guidelines from Divers Alert Network (DAN) here before your trip.

Weather Policy

Seas less than 2 feet
This is what South Florida is all about.

Seas 2 - 3 feet
Diving is great, but only strong snorkelers.

Seas 3 - 4 feet
Diving is still great, but no snorkelers.

Seas 4 - 5 feet
Experienced divers only.

Seas 5+ feet
We will not run.

South Florida is a tropical environment and afternoon thunderstorms are common in the summer. These storms are usually isolated, move on quickly and will not cause us to cancel a trip. We make our decisions based on wind strength and wave height. Rain or sunshine do not affect our final decision.


Weather Cancellation

If we have to cancel, you can reschedule or request a refund. We will advise customers via e-mail or a phone call as soon as we are sure the trip will be canceled. This typically happens around noon the day prior. Please monitor your e-mail regularly during the hours leading up to your trip.


Pregnant Passengers on Diver’s Paradise Charter Boats

Diver's Paradise is not in a position to allow expectant mothers on our charters. Our beautiful ocean is unpredictable. We would not advise placing yourself in that situation.  

Bumpy rides and big waves can harm you and your child when riding in these particular boating environments. It is better to be safe because the coast guard will not always be available to assist in a timely manner.

We offer dive cards to save on multiple dives.

2-Tank Dive Card

Pre-pay for 5 trips (10 dives) and save 10%

Pre-pay for 10 trips (20 dives) and save 15%.

3-Tank Dive Card

Pre-pay for 5 three tank trips (15 dives) and save 10%

Pre-pay for 10 three tank trips (30 dives) and save 15%.


We recommend adding any gear or tanks you'll need onto your dive card to save on those additional items. Our dive packages are non-refundable or transferable (must be used by one person only) and must be used within two years. Taxes/fees will be added to all charters, classes and sales.

Specialty trips such Tech Dives or Spiegel Grove dives have surcharges that will be taken care of at check-in on the day of your dive.

Food & Beverages

We provide ice water, sodas and oranges on all our dive trips. Our boats have a large cooler with ice for you to store your food and drinks in if you prefer to bring your own. You may bring and consume alcoholic beverages if you are over 21 and have finished diving or snorkeling for the day. You will not be allowed back in the water after drinking alcohol.

There are limited food options near our shop, other than a small convenience store inside the marina. Everything else is about a 10 minute drive away. We also have chips, string cheese, chocolate nut bars, and a limited drink selection for sale inside our dive shop office. 

 

Cancellation Policy

  • We require at least 24 hours notice prior to the check-in time to reschedule your trip with no fee or to cancel for a full refund.
  • There will be no refunds, full or partial, for trips cancelled within 24 hours, or if you do not show up.
  • If we cancel your trip to due weather (wind, not rain) you will receive a full refund or option to reschedule. Keep in mind that South Florida is a tropical environment and afternoon thunderstorms are common in the summer. These storms are usually isolated and move on quickly and will not cause us to cancel a trip.
  • We do not offer refunds in the rare occasion that we only do one of the two schedules dives. If we abort a trip after departure, but prior to doing the first dive, we will offer a 100% refund or you can reschedule to another trip.
  • Discover Scuba and Refresher classes require 72 hours notice to cancel for a refund or to reschedule without a fee.
  • All PADI certification classes are non refundable. Classes require 72 hours notice to reschedule without a fee. If you need to reschedule a second time, a $100 fee will be added. Be sure to meet the requirements for the class prior to making your reservation.
  • Private charters require 7 days notice to cancel.
 
 

Private Charters

Private charters are available 7 days a week.

Our private charters includes your own boat, captain, crew and gratuity. Additional: taxes/fees, gear, extra guides and instruction if applicable.
