Adaptive Techniques
The course consists of knowledge development, two confined water skill development workshops and two open water workshops. Adaptive Support Diver—a subset of this course—will interest divers who want to learn how they can best support dive buddies who have physical or mental challenges.
ABOUT
The Diver’s Paradise Adaptive Techniques course explores adaptive teaching methods to apply when training and diving with physically and mentally disabled divers.
The Diver’s Paradise approach is to teach an inclusive, thorough curriculum: Everyone who meets course prerequisites is welcome to enroll.
REQUIREMENTS
PADI Divemasters or PADI Master Freedivers who have completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care course during the last 24 months are eligible to take the PADI Adaptive Techniques Specialty course
