Snorkeling

Our Miami snorkeling trips are approximately 3.5 hours and typically visit two snorkel locations just off Key Biscayne. Bring a lunch or snacks!

For the most snorkeling-focused experience, we recommend these trips:

Since these are hybrid dive & snorkel charters, you may share the boat with beginner scuba divers completing training dives. Snorkeling is self-guided, meaning there is no in-water guide. Guests stay near the boat and are welcome to use the surface line and complimentary snorkel vest for added comfort.

Boats include water, sodas, shaded seating, dry storage areas, a bathroom, and a hot shower onboard. Free parking is available on-site, along with last-minute essentials at the shop. We recommend bringing a towel, lunch, or snacks, as there are limited food options nearby.

Pregnancy Policy

For safety reasons, expectant mothers are not permitted on our charters due to unpredictable ocean conditions and potentially rough seas.

Passengers on the Diver’s Paradise Charter Boats While Pregnant

Diver's Paradise is not in a position to allow expectant mothers on our charters. Our beautiful ocean is unpredictable. We would not advise placing yourself in that situation.

Bumpy rides and big waves can harm you and your child when riding in these particular boating environments. It is better to be safe because the coast guard will not always be available to assist in a timely manner.

Try Scuba Diving
Non-Certified Divers

Have you always wanted to try scuba diving but aren’t certified yet? This beginner-friendly experience is the perfect introduction to the underwater world.

Our Discover Scuba Diving 1-day program is offered year-round every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Your day begins with a short classroom session and video introduction, followed by pool training where you’ll learn the basic scuba skills and get comfortable using the equipment. Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals, you’ll head out on one of our custom dive boats for two guided ocean dives off the coast of Key Biscayne — with your instructor by your side the entire time.

For safety and personalized instruction, our ocean dive ratio is limited to just 2 students per instructor.

Participants must be comfortable swimming to join this experience.

General Safety Guidelines for Running Trips

Seas less than 2 feet
This is what South Florida is all about.

Seas 2 - 3 feet
Diving is great, but only strong snorkelers.

Seas 3 - 4 feet
Diving is still great, but no snorkelers.

Seas 4 - 5 feet
Experienced divers only.

Seas 5+ feet
We will not run.

Weather conditions in South Florida are tropical and can change throughout the day. If we have to cancel, you will can reschedule or request a refund. We will advise customers via e-mail with trip updates or cancellations as soon as we are sure the trip will be canceled. Please monitor your e-mail regularly during the hours leading up to your trip.

Divers age 10 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Divers 16-17 must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian OR obtain written permission. Transportation from our South Beach store to the boat in Key Biscayne is offered at no charge on a first-reserved basis.

All of our dive trips have a Divemaster in the water navigating the site as the groups guide. If you want a private guide, you can request one in advance on almost every trip ($175).

You are required to have or rent a dive computer on all dives to 70 feet or deeper.

There is a captain and crew on board at all times to supervise the diving and snorkeling activities from the boat.

Food & Beverages

We provide ice water, sodas and oranges on all our dive trips. Our boats have a large cooler with ice for you to store your food and drinks in if you prefer to bring your own.

There are limited food options near our shop, other than a small convenience store inside the marina. Everything else is about a 10 minute drive away. We also have chips, string cheese, chocolate nut bars, and a limited drink selection for sale inside our dive shop office.

You may bring and consume alcoholic beverages if you are over 21 and have finished diving or snorkeling for the day. You will not be allowed back in the water after drinking alcohol.

We offer dive cards to save on multiple dives.

2-Tank Dive Card
Pre-pay for 5 trips (10 dives) and save 10%

Pre-pay for 10 trips (20 dives) and save 15%.

3-Tank Dive Card
Pre-pay for 5 trips (15 dives) and save 10%

Pre-pay for 10 trips (30 dives) and save 15%.

Our dive packages are non-refundable or transferable (must be used by one person only) and must be used within two years.

Taxes/fees will be added to all charters, classes and sales.

Specialty trips such as Night Dives, Tech Dives, Spiegel Grove dives have surcharges.

Private Charters

Private charters are available 7 days a week.

Our private charters includes your own boat, captain and crew. Additional: Gratuity, taxes/fees, gear, extra guides and instruction.

Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours notice prior to the check in time to change your reservation with no fee or cancel your trip for a full refund.
There will be no refunds, full or partial, for trips cancelled within 24 hours, or if you do not show up.
If we cancel your trip to due weather (wind, not rain) you will receive a full refund or option to reschedule. Keep in mind that South Florida is a tropical environment and afternoon thunderstorms are common in the summer. These storms are usually isolated and move on quickly and will not cause us to cancel a trip.
We do not offer refunds in the rare occasion that we only do one of the two schedules dives. If we abort a trip after departure, but prior to doing the first dive, we will offer a 100% refund or you can reschedule to another trip.
Discover Scuba and Refresher classes require 72 hours notice to cancel for a refund or to reschedule without a fee.
All PADI certification classes are non refundable. Classes require 72 hours notice to reschedule without a fee. If you need to reschedule a second time, a $100 fee will be added. Be sure to meet the requirements for the class prior to making your reservation.
Private charters require 7 days notice to cancel.
